Inspired by the spatial geometry of swimming pools and hazy recollections of summers past, ‘Pool Adjacent’ is the fourth release from Dublin-based artist Collision Objects.

The glassy, unbroken surface of the pool - both inviting and forbidding - can so quickly be disrupted and smeared. When swimming, abstract half-seen shapes collide with concrete geometric lines.

The four tracks on ‘Pool Adjacent’ oscillate between traditional structures and freeform abstraction, sharp club-focused percussion often giving way to more turbulent generative sonic elements.
